Boardroom Automation
This is our standard boardroom project... a projector or TV, in-wall speakers and a small equipment rack. In the rack we typically have an AV Receiver, DVD Player, a PC, Apple TV, wifi router for guests, and the necessary automation equipment -- the iPad on the table controls all the equipment. On the main screen we typically have buttons for each of the sources and one for guest devices.
Any user or guest can just walk in and tap a button on the iPad to turn on the projector, receiver, and the PC or DVD player. If they want to use their own laptop, tablet, iPad or iPhone -- then they simply plug into the input cable on the table and pick the guest source. Right from the iPad the users can also adjust the volume and switch to other sources when necessary, and at the end they hit one button to turn off all the devices.
This is truely easy to use.
